Lisa Kleypas, som har en political science degree (ungefär motsvarande Statsvetenskap) från Wellesley College, skriver fartfylld, roande, dramatisk och sensuell romance - varav många legat på New York Times Bestseller List.

De flesta böcker jag läst utspelar sig under den viktorianska tiden, artonhundrafyrtio- och femtiotal i The Hathaways-series.och The Wallflowers-series, och nu senast artonhundrasjuttiotal i The Ravenels-series.
